Good in the last however long it has been

  • Perry Mason - trigger warnings, but cool story, good acting and amazing cinematography. This and The Pitt could be about anything and still watchable
  • The entire Burn to Shine video series. A series of indie bands would get together in an abandoned house in some city to play and the house was not just abandoned: it was about to be burned down that very day to train local firefighters. Back when Netflix came in red envelopes.
  • The word “goddamn”. It’s underappreciated when you’re first learning to swear as an English-speaking kid, but it passes all the tests: multiple parts of speech, easily alliterative, plosive.
  • Donald Trump saying he should only drive downhill, suggesting he lives in a goddamn Möbius strip
  • The b-plot to Bart’s Friend Falls in Love for the sheer ratio of screen-time to LOL moments. Instead of the subliminal weight loss cassettes he was supposed to get, Homer gets Vocabulary Builder tapes. I still say, “Lamentably, no.” on a regular basis.
  • Haiku Hands. They have like 8 of these
